Research suggests that practicing mindfulness can reduce the negative effects of stress and increase students’ ability to maintain focus. These thoughtfully curated kits include age-appropriate materials that expose young learners to mindfulness and other Self and Social Awareness SEL competencies to help build stress management and related skills.

These smaller, unique, take-home bags allow students to bring an engaging mind and body learning environment to their home and continue the hands-on learning experience by providing a variety of tools that are educational, stimulating, and grade-appropriate. Products may vary and are designed to be used by the student or with support from friends or family. Each bag is packed with 3 mindful and calming-based activities and/or supplies to help students be more aware, awake, and engaged in their surroundings at school and at home. The books in these packs are a combination of fiction and non-fiction and will help kids learn critical skills, attitudes, and mindsets for social and emotional success. Along with the two Age Level Based Books​, a corresponding Age Level Comprehension Workbook​ is included.

Each Junior SEL bag also comes with the Engagement Guide designed to help parents/caregivers by providing step-by-step instructions and tips on how to get the most out of the materials. These bags are excellent value and meet the criteria for allowable Title 1 and ESSER expenditures. Please choose the appropriate grade when ordering.
