This preschool climbing wall is the early childhood version of the popular Standard Traverse Wall. Climbing on the WeeKidz® Traverse Wall helps build gross motor skills. Climbing also helps children develop patience, perseverance and problem-solving skills. These unique learning opportunities enhance any early childhood program.


The 6’-high WeeKidz preschool climbing wall features red and yellow handholds in a variety of large, child-friendly shapes. The signature Red-Relief Line® is a safety feature that reminds climbers to stay within a distance of 2-1/2’ from the floor and is a helpful tool for the climbing wall supervisor. On walls 20’ or longer, there are also ten “critters” (animal-shaped hand holds) on the wall. Children are excited to look for, and climb, on the turtle, dragonfly, hippo, and more!


Each 20’W x 6’H WeeKidz Traverse Wall panel includes 100 Groperz™ Handholds, 264 preset placement options for mounting handholds and the Red-Relief Line. The walls also include a 2” thick pad that cushions any falls when in the down position, that can also be raised up and locked to cover the wall to prevent unsupervised use. Each complete WeeKidz Wall includes an activity guide with lesson plans.
