STEM Sports® Golf Equipment Curriculum Kit, Grades 3-5 & 6-8

Swing into a great educational course with the STEM Golf curriculum and equipment kit. If your students are having a rough time learning traditional STEM skills, approach our program with our partner PGA TOUR Tee-Up and their outstanding golf equipment. It is a fair way to develop young students’ drive to be better leaders and problem solvers.

The eight-lesson pace of STEM Golf bumps and runs through lessons such as:

- How the rotation of the earth causes a change in the atmosphere and hydrosphere, creating different climates across the globe and thus affecting a golf course and its grass.
- Gaining knowledge about gravity and/or gravitational force applied by the earth on objects directed down, which includes golf balls.
- Learning about distance and potential energy through the practice of swinging a club at different angles and speeds and thus swing radius.
- The composition of a golf ball which is often unknown yet unique, with an assist from Callaway Golf®. Students will learn why there are “dimples” on a ball and how they affect the flight and spin of the ball.

Each STEM Golf kit comes with one (1) STEM Golf Curriculum Manual with lessons specifically designed for Grades 3 to 5 and separate lessons for Grades 6 to 8, plus PGA Tour Tee-Up products - three (3) medium-size irons, three (3) large-size irons, two (2) medium-size putters, and two (2) large-size putters (length of clubs correlates to student's height), four (4) targets, and eight (8) balls along with six (6) Callaway Golf balls, three (3) Callaway Golf balls cut-in-half, six (6) digital stopwatches and six (6) 25-foot tape measures.
