Nancy Pitkin's Music 'N Motion DVD - Tips for Healthy Living

This 4-part DVD focuses on singing along, gentle movement and well-know piano favorites for relaxation. Part 1 includes favorites such as: Hail, Hail the Gang’s All Here, Side by Side, Look for the Silver Lining, Show Me the Way to Go Home and Good Night, Ladies. In Part 2 Elissa Fuchs, former dancer with the Metropolitan Opera, leads participants through movement and dance, to tunes such as Carolina in the Morning, You Tell me Your Dream, and Moonlight Bay.

Part 3 has joyful songs like “Let’s Celebrate” and “Show the World that You Are Here," all easily accompanied on rhythm instruments. Part 4 includes enjoyable piano music like: Meet Me In Saint Louis, The Band Played On, Aura Lee, All Through the Night, in the Shade of the Old Apple Tree, and Nothing Could be Finer than to be in Carolina, accompanied by scenes from the countryside. A highlight of the DVD shows participants joining in the fun!

About the Artist - Nancy Pitkin has been performing in senior communities since she was a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN many years ago. At that time, she created her first sing-along CD. Since then, her CDs and DVDs have been distributed across the US. She has also performed in spiritual centers, for arts organizations, in hospitals, and for private functions. She currently performs and leads sound therapy programs, and she has based her current CD, “Happy Songs and Happy Memories,” on requests from her audiences. Her music is easy to sing along to or just enjoy for listening purposes!
