For a little science experiment, use the ooze tube to demonstrate how viscosity can vary with temperature. At room temperature, the ooze tube takes about 3 minutes for the liquid to drain from the top to the bottom. Allow the ooze tube to sit in a hot cup of water for a minute or two and the ooze tube will empty in about 1 minute. Put it in the refrigerator for an hour or so and the tube will take over 6 minutes to drain from the top to the bottom. Other discussion topics / questions....Is the flow rate constant? If not, why?
