These hand weights were developed by a patient during a physical therapy session who was having difficulty grasping a dumbbell prescribed to her because her hand was too big. She wanted something that would conform to her grasp, be comfortable and unintimidating. SoftGrip™ hand weights are also great for light workouts and for the arthritic patient. Soft but not floppy, color-coded to indicate weight, plus it has a grommet hole for storage on hooks. 10-piece set, 2 each of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 lbs. Can be disinfected with a damp towel and soap, which is the recommended method. Cleaning agents that do not contain alcohol or bleach can also be used.
