A specialized inflation retention lining creates longer lasting air retention. Ships deflated. Available in Official Size (29.5" circumference), Intermediate Size (28.5" circumference) and Youth Size (27.5" circumference). As a general guide, Official-size basketballs are used by boys 12 and over; Intermediate-size balls are most often used by girls ages 10 and up and boys ages 8 to 12; and Youth-size balls are used by girls 10 and under and boys 8 and under.
