I taught junior high art for over 23 years never had a problem with tempera paint .I ordered what I thought would be a nice quality paint for a summer art camp. The price was reasonable the comments made it sound like it was a great deal. The service was great the paint looked good-no odor. However when the children went to put it on a design the colors came out smeary with very little pigment. Yes we shook the bottles! Unfortunately the colors looked faded out they ended up having to put on more than one coating. This was a co-op money is not easy to come by so to say that I and the students were very disappointed is putting it mildly. They even tried it on paper mache it did not begin to cover it.
