This technique, often referred to as “paint pulling” or “string pulling,” allows you to produce intricate, beautifully detailed floral designs with ease. Here’s how you can master this creative method:

Supplies Used

Instructions 

Step 1: Cut 8″ pieces of yarn. Cut as many pieces as yarn as you’d like for you design. 

Step 2: Lay the yarn in each of the paint trays. Tip: You can use more or less paint trays, depending on how many colors you would like in your design. lay yarn down

Step 3: Pour paint on the yarn in each of the paint trays. Tip: The paint should cover as much of the yarn as possible. Pour paint

Step 4: Taking 1 piece of yarn at a time, lay the yarn on the canvas in your desired pattern form. Tip: Lay the yarn in swirled/ wavy form to create the flower effect. Laying of string

Step 5: Gather all the ends of yarn together in one hand.gather yarn

Step 6: Slowly begin to pull the yarn towards you.Pull Strings
