The seniors in my group created the design and glued it down with Elmer's. Then the Activities Director grouted it. The grouting is the hardest part b/c it is messy.

it dries vey quickly...so i recomend having the students take out and make patterns first then Quickly place them in place by pushing just a little.... Yes!! It leaks out the bottom! pretty messy like and leaves hands and work surface chalky I would recommend this project but keep in mind its a FAST, Messy project but the end result is beautiful

I am unsure how you can pour in the concrete when the trivets have holes in the bottom. I still have not used these because I am unsure how to procede for my clients.

Great craft for VBS. The biggest problem was the adults wanted to do one too! Cons: Some of the boards did not fit the center spaces very well. But overall very good.
