Available sizes: Official (29-1/2" circumference), Intermediate (28-1/2"), and Youth (27"). As a general guide, Official-size basketballs are used by boys 12 and over; Intermediate-size balls are most often used by girls ages 10 and up and boys ages 8 to 12; and, Youth-size balls are used by girls 10 and under and boys 8 and under.
