We love that this idea can be used for any theme or occasion!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/wooden-spoons-WD440\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wooden craft spoons<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/crayola-classpack-markers-colors-regular-tip-SC809\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Markers<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/search\/index.php?q=black+sharpie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Black sharpie<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/search\/index.php?q=duct+tape\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Duct tape<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rainbow Peanut Gallery:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Step 1: Set aside about 16 wooden craft spoons. You will need this many in order for your peanut gallery to stand up. Use markers to color each craft stick. I made two of each color; pink, purple, blue, dark green, light green, yellow, orange, red, and a mixture of red and orange to create a rainbow!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7833\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/markers-peanut-gallery-craft1.jpg\" alt=\"markers peanut gallery craft\" width=\"540\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Step 2: Now you can get creative with fun designs. I just started drawing silly faces using a sharpie, some with big eyes, some with only one eye, some smiling or\u00a0with open mouths, and even some with hair! It was so much fun to just let my imagination take over and see what I came up with. TIP: It may be easiest for kids to use an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/sharpie-permanent-marker-ultra-fine-point-black-AS502\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ultra fine tip\u00a0<\/a>permanent marker.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7856\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/peanut-gallery-closeup-1024x7681.jpg\" alt=\"peanut gallery craft\" width=\"540\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Step 3: Now you will tape the wooden craft spoons together. Cut a piece of duct tape about a foot long, then tear it in half horizontally. Place the tape sticky side up on a table. You may want to tape down the edges. Line each wooden spoon up over the tape. Be sure it&#8217;s in the center so the tape doesn&#8217;t show. They fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces.\u00a0Tip: We recommend duct tape because it allows your peanut gallery to be flexible and stand up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7826\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/peanut-gallery-craft-step1.jpg\" alt=\"peanut gallery craft\" width=\"540\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now you can showcase your peanut gallery!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pastel Peanut Gallery:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make this peanut gallery, you can follow the same steps, but try out some other methods, like using paint! You can use<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/color-splash-liquid-watercolor-paint-8-oz-PT3265\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Liquid Watercolor<\/a> to get a more sheer effect. Or use Tempera Paint for a darker look. It gave the characters a natural pastel effect. I also made some silly people and a few dogs too!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7827\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/peanutgallerycraftpastel21.jpg\" alt=\"peanut gallery craft\" width=\"540\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Easter Peanut Gallery Craft:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Easter themed version was made with gel paint too. I used a sharpie for the black, and paint for the white in the eyes and teeth.
