It combines DIY and upcycling an old t-shirt to make a beautiful flower bouquet. This craft is for pretty much any age group and we think it will make the perfect DIY Mother&#8217;s Day gift.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/pompombouquet.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-426 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompombouquet.png\" alt=\"pompombouquet\" width=\"438\" height=\"637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompombouquet.png 438w, https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompombouquet-206x300.png 206w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 438px) 100vw, 438px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a style=\"font-size: revert;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/bisque-flower-vases-craft-kit-GP3059\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bisque Flower Vase<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>T-Shirt Yarn (you can make your own by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=71f-SSM7J7M\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cutting an old t-shirt<\/a>)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Green straws<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Start by cutting about a three inch long strip of T- Shirt Yarn and set it to the side, then begin wrapping the T-Shirt Yarn by the spool around all of your fingers (except your thumb).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/pompom1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-417 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom1.jpg\" alt=\"pompom1\" width=\"406\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom1.jpg 406w, https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom1-254x300.jpg 254w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 406px) 100vw, 406px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Take the loop of yarn out from your fingers and tie a knot around the center using the separate strip of yarn you set aside. Make sure you tie it tight and double knot it so that it doesn&#8217;t come undone.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/pompom2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-418 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom2.jpg\" alt=\"pompom2\" width=\"470\" height=\"446\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom2.jpg 470w, https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom2-300x285.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom2-316x300.jpg 316w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Take your scissors and cut the two loops.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/pompom3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-419 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom3.jpg\" alt=\"pompom3\" width=\"450\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom3.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pompom3-281x300.jpg 281w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You may need to do some snipping here and there so all of the pieces of yarn are the same length.<\/p>\n<p>Then, take your straws and stick them through the center of your pom pom daisy!<\/p>\n<p>Now you are ready to color your vase!
