Your group will get watercolor paints and brushes to get started. Maybe you\u2019re imagining a warm sunset with shades of yellow, orange, and red, or perhaps you have a unique color scheme in mind that perfectly complements your nature scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2)<\/strong> Once you\u2019ve chosen your colors, dip your brush in clean water and gently wet the watercolor pans to bring those beautiful hues to life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> <em>The special black &#8220;resist&#8221; design makes this nature silhouette easy to paint! Your can brush watercolor paint directly over the design and the paint will repel or &#8220;resist&#8221; sticking to the black printed areas.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3)<\/strong> Set up your design on a flat work surface to keep the colors from running together. If you\u2019re going for a soft, delicate look, use plenty of water to create light washes of color. For something more vibrant, apply the wet watercolor paint directly for a bold effect. To get the perfect shade, test your colors on a scrap piece of paper before painting your picture.
