Kids loved putting these together and decorating their own ice cream. The perfect summer camp craft activity on a hot day. Plus, you can use them for an ice cream theme for National Ice Cream Day on July 17th!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/crayola-model-magic-deluxe-variety-pack-CL350\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Model Magic Air Dry Clay\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/search\/index.php?q=craft+foam+balls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Small Foam Balls<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/paper-mache-mini-pots-2-x-2-PS1213\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Paper Mache Flower Mini Pots<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/glue-and-tape\/white-glue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Liquid Glue<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/basic-craft-supplies\/craft-trims\/glitter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Glitter<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong><br \/>\nGlue the foam ball inside of the paper mache flowerpot. This helps to create the ice cream scoop. We used a combination of 2&#8243; and 3&#8243; balls. The larger the size, the higher the scoops of ice cream look.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong><br \/>\nRoll out your model magic clay to create a smooth, flat piece. Then cover the foam ball. There is no wrong way to create your ice cream scoop. As you can see here, some used only one, some others used multiple colors.<\/p>\n<p>You can even use more clay to create toppings like cherries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong><br \/>\nPour some liquid glue on top of your clay and smooth with your finger. This helps to create a more realistic \u201cice cream scoop\u201d look.
