This activity not only engages kids by capturing their creativity, but is also super fun and can produce some amazing results! Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get your ice cream clay sculpture to come out great:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/search\/index.php?q=air+dry+clay&amp;scope=narrow&amp;in_stock=true&amp;sort=best\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Air-Dry Clay<\/a> in colors of choice<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/aluminum-foil-75-sq-ft-EC1355\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Foil<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Paper cone (Can use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/paper\/construction-paper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">construction paper<\/a> for DIY)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/paints-and-stains\/acrylic-paint\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Color Splash Acrylic Brown paint<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/paints-and-stains\/paint-brushes\/multipurpose-brushes\/?fp=AB4000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Paint brush<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/basic-craft-supplies\/glue-and-tape\/white-glue\/?fp=GL605\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Liquid glue<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sprinkles (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/fuse-beads-BE1221\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fuse beads<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/multicolor-cup-sequins-XM494MU\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sequins<\/a>)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Optional: a rock or two from outside (used in Step 2)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Hand Lotion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong><br \/>\nPaint your paper cone so it looks more like an ice cream cone then let dry. If you have a rock from outside that you can use, drop this into the bottom of your cone. This is to help give the cone some weight. Then take a piece of foil and crumple into a ball and place on top of the rock. This is where you get to use your imagination and create the scoops to your liking. Will it be Strawberry? Or maybe Chocolate Chip Mint? Once you have the color for your first scoop, mix in some hand lotion. We didn\u2019t measure but kept adding squirts. Then drape it over your cone. Remember that it doesn\u2019t have to look just like a circle. You don\u2019t have to cover the bottom of the foil because that part won\u2019t be seen. You can fold the edges up to look like a real scoop of ice cream. This will help give your ice cream a more realistic shine. This also helps if you\u2019re adding on \u201csprinkles\u201d.
