Below is the first list I used, but each list got a bit harder (i.e. 2 proteins, 1 grain, 2 dairies, 3 fruits, 1 veggie)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Video:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">3rd grade racing to the \u201cgrocery store\u201d on their \u201cshopping carts\u201d to fill their plates and classify foods into their groups with MyPlate! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/centralcassND?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#centralcassND<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SquirrelsES?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SquirrelsES<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/physed?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#physed<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/nutrition?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#nutrition<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/MyPlate?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#MyPlate<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VHevvUtXQi\">pic.twitter.com\/VHevvUtXQi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Miss V (@PeMissv) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PeMissv\/status\/1224363078856429569?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 3, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first student in line will use the scooter to travel from their \u201cdinner plate\u201d\/hula hoop to the \u201cgrocery store\u201d riding on their \u201cshopping cart\u201d\/scooter<br \/>\nStudents may ride on the scooters on their stomachs using their hands to pull them or sitting on their bottoms using their legs to push\/pull them.<\/p>\n<p>The student will find one food from the grocery list, bring it back, and set it on the \u201cdinnerplate\u201d\/hula hoop before passing the scooter to the next person in line.<\/p>\n<p>Groups will continue until they believe they have all of the foods from the list. If students believe they have all foods from the list they may raise their hands to have the teacher come and check. If it is all correct students get one point for every food from the list in the correct area on the plate.
