They host all kinds of games. It&#8217;s a tradition that each team bring a gift for each player on each team they play. This year I decided to make Paracord Sports Figure Keychains!\u00a0You can create these based on your favorite sport or a sport that you coach, like basketball, soccer, or football.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/search\/index.php?q=paracord\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Parachute cord<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/colorful-findings-JE172\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Key ring<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/search\/index.php?q=Sport+Bead\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sports beads<\/a> (assortment or individual packs)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/wooden-jewelry-bead-mix-BE2002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Wood bead<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/craft-tools\/scissors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Scissors<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Lighter<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 125%; text-align: center;\">How to Make a Paracord Sports Figure<\/h2>\n<p>1. Cut two different colors of paracord to 16 inches. Have your other supplies ready as well.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14138 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/paracord-1-11.jpg\" alt=\"paracord sports figure craft\" width=\"700\" height=\"433\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. Loop one paracord color through the key ring.\u00a0Tie an over hand knot through the key ring and pull tight.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14119\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/paracord-21.jpg\" alt=\"paracord \" width=\"750\" height=\"443\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. Thread a wooden bead through one end of the paracord. This is the head. Then lay the other color of paracord underneath the first color, at the middle point.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14120\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/praracord-31.jpg\" alt=\"praracord\" width=\"750\" height=\"505\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. The knot you will be making is called a Cobra Stitch. You will be tying 3 of these knots. Once you have finished, push the cobra stitches up to the bead.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14121\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/paracord-collage1.jpg\" alt=\"paracord collage\" width=\"950\" height=\"711\" \/><\/p>\n<p>5. Slide a sports bead on one arm, or you can put it on the leg. For this craft, I chose a volleyball on the arm. Then tie a knot on the arms and legs to your desired length.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14122\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/paracord-51.jpg\" alt=\"paracord\" width=\"750\" height=\"268\" \/><\/p>\n<p>6. Trim the access paracord past the knot &#8211; leave a little bit at the end.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14124\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/paracord-61.jpg\" alt=\"paracord\" width=\"615\" height=\"542\" \/><\/p>\n<p>7. Melt the ends past the knots with a lighter, then flatten with a steel tool (or the side of the lighter).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14125\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/paracord-71.jpg\" alt=\"paracord\" width=\"740\" height=\"419\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now you have the Paracord sports figure!\u00a0If you want to dot some eyes and a smile on the wooden bead you can also do that.
