Use this as a fun group craft project or a one-on-one activity. To make this craft even easier, we have created a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Free-Printable-Santa-Paper-Craft1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Free Printable Download<\/a> <\/strong>with each shape. Place the color construction paper you need behind each shape and cut along the lines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recommended Ages: 4-7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Materials:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Doily<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/medium-weight-oak-tag-12-x-18-PE116B\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Oak tag<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/art-supplies-and-craft-kits\/paper\/construction-paper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Construction paper<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/arts-and-crafts-supplies\/basic-craft-supplies\/craft-trims\/wiggly-eyes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Wiggly eyes<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/cotton-balls-AC1080\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cotton ball<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssww.com\/item\/sharpie-permanent-marker-ultra-fine-point-black-AS502\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Marker<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>1. Cut our your pieces<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cut a circle out of oak tag paper for the face.<\/li>\n<li>Cut 3 small circles, for the nose and 2 rosy cheeks using red and pink construction paper.<\/li>\n<li>Cut 2 wavy shapes out of white construction paper for the mustache.<\/li>\n<li>Cut a hat out of red construction paper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Tip: Pre-cut the pieces for young kids and lay them out in piles on a table for easy access.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Glue the pieces\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Glue two wiggly eyes, nose, cheeks, and mustache to the face (large circle)<\/li>\n<li>Glue the face to the center of the doily<\/li>\n<li>Glue the hat to the back of the doily (this should overlap)<\/li>\n<li>Glue the cotton ball to the end of the hat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. Get creative!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kids can add eyebrows, draw silly eyes instead of using wiggly eyes, add more cotton balls for a beard, glitter or gems to the hat, and any other fun craft materials they&#8217;d like.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Now you can hang Santa up!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add a magnet to the back to hang it on the refrigerator<\/li>\n<li>Hole punch the top of the hat to hang it from a string for a cute decoration<\/li>\n<li>Glue Santa to a piece of paper for a background, then write Merry Christmas or use foam letters to spell it out!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have kids write a letter to Santa after the craft activity to add to the holiday fun!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kids can make a doily santa decoration using a few simple craft materials!
