You have to put the water in the base before you blow it up or else it is really hard to get water in. You have to put sand or water in base or else it will not stand up. Once you do that it is awesome. We use it for soccer and hockey goalies for grades 5-8. Just have to watch kiddies that like to punch or kick him.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
