These are great for beginners to practice catching, but you must throw them very hard to get them to go any distance. I have played a disc game and had a lot of success with the students catching these over the foam type of disc.

I use these to teach my dog how to catch something around her neck as well as touch targets. She LOVES them! It's a great way to have fun with your dog!
