These were great! Plenty of beads, easy setup, lots of fun to make. The cord frays if you cut it, but just seal with heat. The beads are nice and heavy weight and wore very well as the kids used the jump ropes.

DO not follow recommended lengths for cutting it based on age/height. You need extra to tie the ends, then you can cut off the extra. If we used the recommended length, they were too short. GREAT product otherwise. Nice, gym style, durable jump ropes. Fun to do too! Kids loved picking their own colors and patterns.

We sent the jump ropes to our 7 year old friend. She loves them! She made jump ropes with her neighborhood friends and tells us she uses the ropes everyday after school! It is the perfect gift for the creative and active child.

I bought these for three kids to make their own jump ropes with their own colors; other than the one child wanting to copy another, there was plenty of colors to go around for each child to make 2 jump ropes. After consistent use on sidewalks, they are getting more scratched up, sooner than I'd anticipated, but overall we love them and we would buy them again.

I bought this set of make your own jump ropes for a summer project for my kids. I have 5 children plus myself that made a jump rope. It was easy and fun for my 10 year old all the way down to the 3 year old--boys and girls. They loved all making their own pattern and size of jump rope. It was a fun family project, and they have been using them almost every day since. A project that keeps on giving for good exercise! Great quality, sturdy beads and rope, awesome price,and very easy to do! I would definitely buy again.
