I use these hula hoops on the playground, both for recess and PE with K-8 students. They're the average hula hoops; many kids love to use them, but it doesn't take a GREAT deal of effort to bend/kink them. I have a number that have at least 1 kink, and at least 2 that have cracked open out of 24 total. In addition, a number of them have come apart at the stapled attachment. Many cases are caused by excessive use or abuse by the kids, and they're not expensive to replace. However next time I will try the kink-free" hoops.

Before we purchased these super hoops we had cheaper ones. The cheap ones would not last. They would be bent egg shapes by the end of the week. I love our new hoops. We purchased these this summer and they are still great. We have not lost one to mistreatment. They take lots of mistreatment, just don't bend or break. They will be used by the students for years to come, instead of buying cheap ones over and over again.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
