As a Christian Ed Director I have found that these are wonderful for relay races, obstacle courses or just to mark a spot for kids to stand on. They are a bit pricey but they don't slip on tile floors and they seem durable.

I use these squares in my preschool classroom. I drew the outlines of shoe prints on them (a right and a left foot). I also numbered each square on the feet. I have the squares in a long line in front of my classroom door. This way, it teaches my students "how" to line up. Each student goes and stands on a set of feet (which on drawn on each square). The squares are large enough to give the students enough space of their own. It has really helped!
