I bought this cage ball three years ago and I used it once a year at a high school retreat. The first year I used it, it work great! The second year I used it, the cover got about a 12 in tear along one of the seams. I was a bit surprised by this since I had used it only one other time for a few hours the year before. I had a friend of mine sew it up so that I could use it the following year. When I used it last year the cover ripped even more to the point that I had to discard it. I will be buying a new cover this year for around $100. Even though I had the ball for three years, I only used it a a total of maybe 8 hours. It supposedly has "tremendous seam strength to last for years". Not the case with the ours. However, the students absolutely loved it and ask to have it back each year. Maybe the new cover will be bit stronger. We shall see.

This product was used for general recreation in a coed camp setting for older teenagers. They loved the novelty of it and thought of lots of games. Mostly they liked to climb up on it so I was glad it was so sturdy. Inflation was challanging until I figured out that a shop vac worked great.

I bought a 6' cage ball for my church youth group (highschoolers). They loved it. They like to play "body soccer" with it (2 teams - each team trying to push the ball across the other team's goal).
