I purchased as a craft for my daughters B-day. We tried them when they arrived. My daughter enjoyed coloring the bird. Only use crayons. When we went to fly it the tail would not stay on. The wings move around and slide out very easily. We decided to tape together. That worked and we could get it to fly. But after about 5 flights it was completely broken.

In March we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss all month long by reading Dr. Seuss books. I was a guest reader at our local elementary school so I purchased these and let the Kindergarten children color them with crayons while I read the story "Gertrude McFuzz." (I recommend coloring crayons. I tested markers first and they were messy! I thought the paint would be also for Kindergarteners.) The children and their teachers LOVED them! They couldn't WAIT to use them. After reading (and coloring the birds) the children took turns 'testing' them and took them home! (Most children were able to put them together themselves. They needed help with the plastic 'nose-piece'.) EXCELLENT quality and Fun item! [...]
