We used the silver mylar stars to decorate a company awards event. These mylar stars had a matte finish rather than a shiny mylar finish. I had leftover stars from a previous balloon vendor and they were a much higher quality - could see your reflection in them.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
