Use this as a suggestion from S&S to color on Hackey Sacks for a replacement craft for Vacation Bible School (replaced Bateek-O paper). Paint comes out too thick & too fast to paint on the hackey sacks. It was messy for the kids to use.

I purchased the fabric paint pens to paint a printed scarf, but they did not work well on the material. The project was for a group of elementary age children and, after trying it myself, I decided with the time restraints we had for the project it would not work well.

Less waste than bottled paint. Good for teens and adults (difficult for children to control flow). Easy storage. Permanent markers might work better for your projects.

These were used by 4-7 year olds to paint a canvas apron. We ended up squeezing them out onto plates and letting them use the paint with brushes. These are flexible/squeezeable tubes with a point at the end, not so much a pen that would be easy to write or draw with. Can get messy if you are trying to put the lid back on and squeeze the tube at the same time.
