depends what type of project you are doing- this works just ok for lanyards because it is narrow and stretches easily so it can frustrate the kids...we used it for lacing plastic canvas bookmarks and it was fine...

It's thinner than the "relace". Used it to string name tags & for hanging beaded things. I would not use it for crafts, as I think its too thin. But overall it was OK for what I used it for.
