I am the Music Counselor at my camp and this was a very good project for any age child, but I only used it for our older bunks, approx. 10-14 years of age. I also purchased wooden maracas that were a very good project for young and older children as well. There is usually not too much to select from, but this was an interesting one and the children enjoyed it.
