This project is great. We used additional supplies to decorate, magizine cutouts, tissue and cool paper scraps. Is not babyish good for 2nd grade and up, boys or girls!

I am an art specialist in camp and did this project with 9 year olds. I had them construct the boxes themselves, and most of them were able to do that independently. We then used your wood stain to finish them off. They looked great and the children loved them.

We called these family dream boxes at a weekend family camp. Each family assembled and decorated the box and then added added family dreams on strips of paper that were stored inside. The box was painted and then images cut out and decoupaged on the out side. My staff did sort all parts and group with a rubber band around all parts for easy distribution.

The wooden ball needs to be sanded to create a flat side in order to adhere to lid of box during gluing...otherwise ball will roll off or not glue well.

I was disappointed in that this project required much more work than anticipated. I will be returning one of the two boxes I ordered. Even the instructions don't indicate how much prep is required to align the notched joints.
