Bought this craft for the middle school girls at the Girl Scout Day Camp. They didn't love it. I don't know why. Flip-flops were really cute and sturdy. I usually can pick the fun crafts for them, but I missed this one. I still would buy it tho, just not for that age.

The teens and younger children loved this project. We used this in our VBS lesson "Serve Jesus" and follow in his footsteps. The teens painted their flip flop boxs the colors of their favorite teams and some to match their rooms. We used plastic caps for the paint and cups for their brushes. We love the fact that everything was togeather for this project. This was breeze for the teens, but the younger children needed help to paint and to clean up after their project.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
