Can be used with all ages and decorated as creatively as their ability to. Only drawback--velcro closure is attached, would be better to apply based on child's head size.

The craft was really cute and the kids really enjoyed it. We skipped the glitter glue and used markers. The thing I didn't like was the Velcro came off the crown when my daughter closed it and reopened it the first time.

I purchased these crowns for my daughter's princess party to accommodate the little boys in the group. However, both little boys AND girls enjoyed them immensely! They had a lot of fun creating their own crowns and glueing on jewels and feathers. It was a good time. We did have one issue with some of the crowns where the pre-applied velcro had come off... this was easily corrected by glueing back in place with the supplied glue.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
