I am teaching a puppet theatre class, with 21 kids aged 7-12 and was suprised to find that I needed more felt. The fabric given for detailing on the pupppets was sparse and due to that, I felt it yeilded in creativity when bulding their puppets. There were only 23 complete puppets themselves, one side not having a matching. I had to get more felt for the kids to finish their puppets. It was an easy assembly and I would recomend getting felt glue to aid in them not falling apart. For the price, I think I could have made this set for cheaper. All the set contains is felt front and back and extra pieces to add detail.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a fun project- very creative. Once we were used to the fact that you have to let the glue dry completely before trying to use them, it was fine. Really fun finished puppets. The kids loved them and used them to make up their own puppet shows.

We had a bible camp for children in grades 1-6 with their helpers being 7th and 8th graders. The first day the children made the puppets, and the second day they were to use them for a puppet show. Even with the use of a glue gun, many puppets fell apart and we ended up fixing them by either sewing the two parts together or stapling them.The glue provided couldn't even hold the decorative pieces. It is a very fun and creative project, but it does require a stronger adhesive, some sewing or stapling.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Everyone loves these. I had to use a glue gun to get puppets to stay together. I would suggest using with cut up peices of felt, snd other craft items to decorate.
