At first I couldn't figure out how the glider worked but with assistance from a customer service rep I got it going. It still wasn't what I expected it could only fly approxiately 1 foot from where you were standing. but still the children liked painting them but it was difficult to paint both sides without making a mess.

We used the gliders as a make-and-take craft activity in a children's museum. The paint was not thick enough for bright colors and took too long to dry, so we used permanent markers instead. Unlike wooden gliders, there was little assembly and the airplanes could be flown many times before cracking (after hitting the pavement). This project was a good value with or without the paint.
