In working with traumatized children I have found sandplay extremely helpful. The tactile nature of this sand helps relax and focus them. The possibilities for creativity, expression and healilng are endless as they craft and mold their Deltasand micro worlds. Even children who are shy or withdrawn, and resisting other activities, can't resist sticking their fingers into the sand.

This is perfect for beach themed activities even in the winter! You can build sand castles, have a treasure hunt with it, fill small balloons to make stress reliever squishy balls and so much more. It even helps strengthen small muscles and relieve tension. I love this sand!
