I use these beautiful ribbons in my dance classes with PreK thru 5th grade youth. Great for stirring the imagination and getting the kids moving. We use wide range of movement skills - from minimum (just wrists) to maximum (full body w/jumps). The downside, is that the ribbons can get knotted and fray. But these shorter ribbons are less likely to get knotted.

Great toy for toddlers

I purchased these ribbon wands for my daughter's third Christmas, so I have had them for a few weeks. The ribbons are knotted (in the center) to a swiveling mechanism at the tip of each stick, so there are effectively 2 ribbon streamers that fly through the air. The plastic wands have a lot of glitter inside them, which was a pleasant surprise. Ribbon movement is smooth, the colors are bold, and the plastic handles haven't chipped/broken yet, despite being thrown multiple times onto a ceramic tile floor. My only wish is that they would've been made in the United States, Europe, or Canada. Oh, and that pink would be included, since my daughter loves pink.
