Poor Quality

I was disappointed with the quality of these coins. They are extremely lightweight. The gold is bright and shiny on most, but dull and blackish or spotted on many. The joints where they were attached together during production protrude on most and are black rather than gold. I had to file off all the pointy joints to prevent them scratching younger children. Could have gotten same poor quality for less elsewhere. Was really hoping these would be better than those sold by Oriental Trading and others, but they're the same and cost more to boot.

I used these in a cardboard treasure chest during our theme parties: pirate,St.Patty's, luau etc. I also used these for math games. They are just the right size, weight so that they appear like real coins. The kids enjoyed these and loved the gold color. As an educator I enjoy looking for products that are multi use and these work perfectly!!
