P.E. Central Lesson Plan: Personality Collage
Purpose of Activity:
To have students define some of their personality traits
Suggested Grade Level:
9-12
Materials Needed:
old magazines; poster board; scissors; glue sticks; overhead projector
Lesson Plan:
Description of IdeaStudents will trace their profile on theirposter board by projecting their shadow onto the poster board.OR students may lie on the ground on a very large piece of paperand trace around themselves with a pencil.
Students then cut out pictures and words thatdescribe their personality from old magazines.These personality traits will include those that are both inheritedand acquired.
Students complete the activity by gluing theirtraits in a collage fashion over the shape of their poster boardand sharing their collage with the class.
