P.E. Central Lesson Plan: People Finder (Part II)

Purpose of Activity:

To allow students to learn and acknowledge the abilities of their classmates. The activity will allow students to raise their heart rates as well. Also a great time for teacher to learn students names.

Suggested Grade Level:

3-5

Materials Needed:

A writing utensil; a copy of the people finder work sheet for each student; various other equipment that match your chosen workshop activities (i;e;; for these tasks you would need: jumpropes; football; soccerball; pull-up bar; & juggling equipment);

Lesson Plan:

Description of Idea

Walk about the gym and find a classmate who participates in or can demonstrate one of the following activities. If there is an * in front of the number then this means the person needs to demonstrate that skill. Have them sign their name after the activity. A classmate may sign your paper only one time.
