These pads are as close as you can get to the old Markwort Volleyball Knee Pads used in the Ghostbusters films as elbow pads. Modifications are necessary and you'll want to sew in the black square once you have the pads colored gray because there is a breathing hole right in the middle of the material on the elastic side. Other than that, these are just about the right size and shape for what you will need to re-create the Ghostbuster look accurately. And they're very durable as well, so the abuse they have to go through to come out as a final product is easily withstood. Highly recommended. I know I'm not reviewing this product for it's originally intended use, but the secondary use is becoming quickly established.
