Wanted an 'old testament' look to our 2010 Moses VBS. Younger students can't color or glue all their projects, so we look for other unique items to make. These were easy to lay out for the two groups of children, and they easily completed these art projects in one sitting. The clay was easy for the students to be successful. Also, the helpers could allow the free expression of the kids without 'interfering' in the children's artistic expression. Each unique project went home with the children on the last day. My own child thought the necklace was too 'scratchy', but jute IS scratchy. Beautiful, inexpensive, old testament project.
