This item was perfect. Brownie Girl Scouts used them to dab paint around lace doilies. This created a beautiful effect.

We used these sponges for a seniors craft project (nursing home patients with limited functionality), and they found them easy to hold and control. They work best for large stencils, it is hard to control the sponge over small, detailed areas. I think they'll be good for one more project, but I doubt they'll make it past that.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
