Ball used mainly for pitching and throwing against a wall. Slightly heavier than and as solid as official ball. Extra ounce or two better for exercising arm as well as avoiding stress to elbow or shoulder, and ball throws better. Cover and interior last for months with hard throwing to wall. Seams simulate break of game ball if slightly better.

Excellent quality. But this ball is very hard and not intended for very young children. Believe me, this ball will hurt if you're hit by it. Aside from that, extremely well made and great for practice and warming up.
