I use these in obstacle courses for balance (stepping stones), and other obstacles. They work very well and serve many purposes. You cannot use them as stepping stones on a hard surfaces such as gym floor or tile floor as they scoot all over the place. On carpet or other surfaces though, they work well. Good deal for the money.
