I purchased two wall components. They arrived by freight, poorly packaged (one had a big gouge on it) and with a surprisingly high delivery charge. Upon reviewing the installation instructions, it became apparent that we would need a contractor to install them safely. My husband is very handy and planned on doing it, but because of the supporting frame that had to be built for them (not included) and because they are heavy and need to be hung VERY securely, he was uncomfortable having a non-professional do it. So while we were frustrated because we don't feel the website explained sufficiently what would be involved cost & labor wise, in the end we were happy with the product. It is sturdy, the kids love it and it is just high enough to be fun without being too high to be dangerous.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Kids love to climb! This molded panel with 3-D rocks, boulders and embedded 'fossils' thrills children. Yet the innovative, safety-minded design doesn't scale high above the ground. Instead, kids are encouraged to traverse the rockscape using strategically placed hand and foot holds. Made of rotomolded polyethylene granite-colored plastic, panels are lightweight and easy to install. Unique features include: 4'L x 8'H x 7-1/2"D low-maintenance panels. 12 multi-colored grips per panel, dual-bolted to prevent loosening and turning. Can be mounted directly to a wall or attached to an existing playground. Stimulates gross motor and decision-making skills. No harnesses needed. Use with safety surfacing. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Instructions included. 60 lbs. per panel. Ships unassembled.Extra Handholds are available under item #W8240.Extra Footholds are available under item #W8241.

Note: There are 2 panel designs for these rock walls - an "A" and "B" version. If a single panel is ordered, the A panel will be shipped. If more than one panel is shipped, an approximately equal number of A and B panels will be shipped. Panels can be alternated and installed in an inverted pattern to create more variety in multiple panel walls.
