I wondered why this package was significantly cheaper than what I can get in my local craft store. Here's the deal - you must either use indelible markers (not such a good idea with young children) OR use sandpaper to scratch the plastic so you can use color pencils. (What I buy in my local craft store comes with one rough side so this is not necessary.) Anyway it was too much work for me to use sandpaper so I gave it to my older children and they had a great time.

These were such fun to color. When they shrink, the colors become more intense! However, they shrank more than the package says it does. So plan for about 75% shrinkage.
