I'd never done scratch art before and was very disappointed in the flimsiness of the project. Also it says 72 of them but they come in 24 sets where each frame is attached in groups of 3 and you have to tear them apart, so someone gets a big one, someone gets a small one and someone is stuck with a tiny one. I was going to do it with a group of 2nd and 3rd graders and decided it wasn't appropriate since not everyone could have a big one and they were so flimsy I thought they would rip if we tried to scratch them. It might work for teenagers but there isn't a back so you'd need to frame the frame or attach a back or paste it to a scrapbook page. Not what I expected!

There are 24 sets of frames. We plan to add magnets to the back of the biggest ones so children can hang them on the refrigerator. We will tape a copy of a verse that coordinates with our curriculum inside the frame.

We used these for VBS group photos. A fun craft for all kids 4-11 yrs. They loved personalizing their design. Scratch sticks not included.

Other uses - The two smaller sizes can be made into Magnets with small drawing or decoartive name. The smallest with a 3D paper or model magic flower makes a great pin for Mom.
