I am the one that wrote the review on these not being individual kits. It took a long time to kit them for my son's class, but the kit itself creates a nice basket and it was fun and pretty easy to do. We have not done it with the class yet, but my son's presentation went well and the kids are looking forward to making their own. For those of you who have never done anything like this before, you do need to soak the reed in order to make the basket.

We have not tried to do the basket yet, but my son, age 9, and I were looking at the kit and while there may be enough material for 36 baskets, the materials are not individually packaged into 36 kits. I am not sure how anything divides out as it arrives in two rolls of one size reed, one roll of a larger size and the bottoms that need to be "punched" out of thin wood. There is one set of instructions. I will report back once we get into it more. While reviewing this comment, I noticed there is a discrepancy between what the product info says here and what is on the internet where you make the purchase as far as the recommended age.
