We use these with our OT clients for gross motor strengthening, visual motor development, opening up the chest area and lungs and all the great physical skills you need to play and be with others; used singly or in "taking turns" mode, outside, inside; can even be used in our classrooms because they won't break anything. Depending on the target or purpose, you can make the activity easier or harder-----such as just throwing over a line or through a hula hoop.
